Oak Class

During Mental Health Week, Oak Class have been learning how to ‘express ourselves’.

We have learnt that our feelings can change and that we may feel differently to our friends. Through the arts, we have been given the opportunity to express our feelings in a variety of ways. We have danced, used instruments, listened to music and had the freedom to express ourselves through our own creativity. Although it is important to be able to express our feelings, we have also learnt to respond to our feelings and have explored strategies that could help us, including mindfulness. Oak Class continue to use these strategies daily to support our mental health and well-being.
