Christmas Message From Chair Of Governors - 19.12.2018
Dear Parents, carers, teachers and staff
As we reach the end of the year 2018, I would like to take this opportunity to say what is so special about The Cedar Federation.
I am so proud as Chair of Governors that both schools in the Federation have very high expectations for all pupils’ happiness, enjoyment, behaviour and learning enabling them to achieve the very best they can. The school’s aim to help our pupils within the Federation to be confident, independent and interested in the world around them, and to be prepared for the challenges they will face in the future.
Children’s progress and attainment remain the focus of our efforts and we continuously strive for children to access the best possible education at Ifield School and King’s Farm Primary School.
With the support and guidance of a dedicated leadership team, all staff working in the Federation demonstrate commitment and dedication to creating a happy, safe and educationally exciting environment in which all children can learn and develop as identified in the two exceptional Ofsted reports received earlier this year. The success of the Federation is very much a team effort.
I want to take this opportunity to thank The Cedar Federation Governors for giving up their valuable time, and for the effort they put into supporting the schools. It is a privilege to work with such professional and enthusiastic people. Governors provide support to the school in a number of ways, using our experience from our varied backgrounds. In my view, the most important role of a Governor is to make sure that our already successful schools in the Federation continue to improve and build upon their successes.
On behalf of the whole Governing Body, I would like to extend our thanks to all our parents, volunteers and friends for their continued support of both schools.
May I take this opportunity of wishing you and your families and the staff of the Cedar Federation a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Thank you
Kind regards
Andrew Sparks
