On Friday 29th March, Sycamore Class visited the Maidstone Museum as part of their topic about the Romans. The pupils participated in two workshops. During workshop one, pupils dressed up as a Roman soldier and wore armour and a helmet. Pupils also handled real and replica Roman artefacts. Within workshop two pupils made a clay mask or pot. The pupils explored the museum after lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the day. It was a great opportunity to learn more about the Romans in a creative way and the pupils wish to thank the museum staff for being so welcoming.
